It can be used for any photographic subject and but ensures excellent results when the scene has a wide range of brightness. The film produces high-contrast negatives and has an extremely wide exposure latitude, making it suitable for use in various lighting conditions. The 400 ISO sensitivity was measured by treating the film with standard C-41 detectors. The film gives good results even when exposed from 50 to 800 ISO. Because of this characteristic, the film is able to tolerate under- or over-exposure errors.
It is a black-and-white film that is processed with C41-type chemical treatment like a color negative film.
