Orthochromatic black-and-white film with very fine grain and excellent sharpness.
Because of its lack of red sensitivity, it allows it to be easily developed and manipulated even in the darkroom using red security light.
Characteristics and tonal performance:
Compared to common panchromatic films, their tonal rendition in portraits and landscape is interesting.
In portrait photography, it darkens complexion and lip tones, giving very intense images. To be chosen to highlight certain features of the face such as the lips or skin.
In landscape photography, grass and leaves will be a lighter shade of gray, giving the effect of very bright landscapes. While surfaces that reflect red, such as barks and some types of rocks and flowers, will be darker giving the effect of beautiful contrast.
