Washi ‘F’ is an orthochromatic black and white film 100 ISO, 35mm format, 24 exposures.
This is an orthochromatic radiographic film, the same film that was used for the medical diagnosis of lung diseases.Available for the first time in 135 format, thanks to the absence of the anti-alias layer, this film produces an interesting diffusion effect with good grain.
The recommended use for this film is for portrait, still-life, landscape and all classic subjects.
We recommend to load the 135 not in direct light and to shoot 6 empty frames to get the first actual picture. The diffusion effect may change depending on the lighting conditions, and is also much stronger in the 135 format than in the 120 format.
The films are not DX-coded, so they must be used with cameras that allow manual ISO selection.
